I had forgotten how confusing La Belle Sauvage is. Everything happens so quickly. And I actually didn’t originally notice the mention of The Secret Commonwealth. Why would I, book wasn’t out yet? Hoping that means we get a bit of an explanation in that book. #HisDarkMaterials

The questions are, if I recall correctly, very similar to the ones she asks when they meet in the balloon in the book. So it isn’t that bad, but still isn’t quite perfect. More of a problem that they all seem to have forgotten there is a prophecy to fulfill. #HisDarkMaterials

After seeing that part again, I have less of a problem with it. Still weird that Lyra doesn’t seem to realize who she is, and Lyra’s questions kinda feel out of place in the seriousness of the situation. Book-Lyra would have no problem, but not sure if @DafneKeen’s Lyra would.

So far in episode 6 of #HisDarkMaterials I have somewhat mixed feelings. Lots of great stuff coming together, but certain dialogue lines just feel slightly off. Probably only a problem for books fans, and I expect it to straighten out later in the episode. #HisDarkMaterialsS2

#HisDarkMaterials EP.6 SPOILERS!! Mostly Lyra meeting Serafina Pekkala. I realize that they might not actually have met yet in the show, but Lyra’s reaction is still a bit out of place. It is partly taken from the book, but feels like some lines are missing still EP.6 SPOILERS!

The episode was indeed quite amazing, and I can’t wait to watch it again. I feel like there’s an incredible amount of details and subtleties that deserve to be properly appreciated. That goes for the rest of the episodes too, but especially this one. #HisDarkMaterials
